I am passionate about helping support you through any difficulties you may be facing at the moment. Whether that be at home, with family members or at work, or something you have been holding for years which now seems the right time to be talked about, made sense of and released, or made peace with.
My aim is to offer you a calm, grounded, non-judgmental and respectful space to explore your thoughts and feelings. I am trained to listen and my approach (person-centred) and my manner is gentle and calm.

I draw on my own broad life experiences to create a safe, supportive and accepting space for you to talk about your issues which may be causing you distress.
People who come to see me for counselling are often feeling stressed and anxious, or depressed with low mood and lacking in motivation. This can impact on relationships with people around you, causing difficulties at work and creating feelings of helplessness or worthlessness. People have reported disturbed sleeping and eating patterns, which again can impact on mood. Counselling is good at tackling all these issues and can help create a sense of being better able to manage and of being okay again.
My training enables me to work therapeutically with couples who may be struggling within their relationship, often discovering more effective ways of communicating and resolving historical issues.
If any of this sounds familiar, please get in touch. At present I am offering sessions in my log cabin, Shedspace – complete with sofas and a log burner, walking sessions out in nature and home visits, when being outside isn’t possible or practical.
